Chingkheihunba Polo Club, Manipur Police Sports Club A and Rupakumar Polo Club all enjoyed easy victories in the 37th H Hazari & Dr N Tombi State Polo Tournament 2025 at Mapal Kangjeibung on Friday.
Chingkheihunba Polo Club set the tone for the day with a breathtaking display of offensive firepower, demolishing Lairenjam PC 16-0 in a lopsided contest.
Captain Leishemba T spearheaded the carnage, showcasing sublime skill with a match-high six goals.
A Basanti proved equally lethal, netting four goals, while O Rozer, Th Kaoba, and Bupendrajit added further misery to Lairenjam's defence with two goals each.
The CPC riders' relentless coordination and precision left their opponents scrambling, marking one of the most dominant performances of the season's tournament so far.
Manipur Police Sports Club-A asserted the ir championship credentials with a clinical 8-2 dismantling of New Vision PC .
Y Binoy emerged as the standout performer, striking a flawless hat-trick, while teammates T Roshan and M Jawan tormented New Vision's backline with two goals apiece.
Th Romen rounded out the scoring with a composed finish, underscoring MPSC-A's balanced attack.
New Vision's Sh Bony provided fleeting moments of resistance, netting both consolation goals, but the match belonged to MP-SC-A's cohesive teamwork and tactical discipline.
Rupakumar Polo Club also enjoyed easy day with a commanding 7-3 win over Luwangpokpa PC, fuelled by Swarna Kangjam's virtuoso performance.
Kangjam dazzled with four goals, blending speed and precision, while M Naoba Meitei, A Bisheswor, and A Ranjan added solitary strikes to seal the result.
Luwangpokpa's K Maheshkumar, N Michael, and N Barun fought valiantly, but their efforts fell short against Rupa-kumar's unrelenting pressure and strategic dominance.
