DSA Bishnupur condoles demise of M Kenedy

Imphal, December 30 2023:
The District Sports Association, Bishnupur has condoled the sudden demise of its executive council member Moirangthem Kenedy alias Boby this morning at around 2.30 at Goa Medical College.
Moirangthem Kenedy (52), son of Ibotombi Meitei of Keinou Thongkha, was with the KLASA team as an official for the I-League 3 which concluded today in Goa when he passed away.
As per a statement issued by the District Sports Association, Bishnupur, Kenedy's health deteriorated all of sudden and was rushed to Goa Medical College before passing away this morning.

Notably, Kenedy was a notable player who represented KLASA from 1986 to 1997 before taking up the managerial work from 1998, it said.
Kenedy played a pivotal role in bringing KLASA up upto the National level league competition, it said.
Demise of Kenedy, who dedicated his entire life towards development of football and upbringing of players, is an irreparable loss to District Sports Association, Bishnupur and football fraternity of the State, said the association while expressing heartfelt condolences.
District Sports Association, Bishnupur also shared grief with the bereaved family and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
