MFC, SFC prevail in 2nd Dabang Trophy

Imphal, December 24 2024: Mukhai FC and Saruk FC prevailed in contrasting styles in Tuesday's fixtures of the, 2nd Dabang Trophy 9-a-side State Level Open Football Tournament at ASSA playground, Sangaiyumpham, Wangling, Thoubal.

Mukhai started the day with a 5-0 drubbing of Nitro FC.

Th Premjit (8,11,19) led the rout, scoring a hat-trick, with Prithibiraj (40,41) contributing a double.

Saruk FC, on the other hand, edged past NESU 2-1 as Nawaj starred in their triumph, netting twice in the 9th and 51st minutes.

Basanta scored the lone goal for his side i n the 33rd minute.
