Imphal, February 07 2025: MPA beat YPHUC by 3 wickets in the 2nd MNCA Womens 11-15 One Day Trophy 2024-25 at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband, on Friday.

Electing to bat, YPHUC were restricted to 114/4, with Japani Irom (22), Loktongbam Terina (16) and Suchitra Waikhom (16) scoring in double digits.

MPA's attack saw Yumnam Echapamu, Salaingambi Thokchom, Chongtham Rushita and Laishram Bandana Chanu each take a wicket.

MPA faced challenges in their chase but successfully reached the target in 25.4 overs, despite losing seven wickets.

Key contributions from Yumnam Echapamu (28), Laishram Bandana (16), Chanambam Nevia (6*), and Salaingambi Thokchom (2*) played a crucial role in securing the victory.
