AR sponsors participation of wushu athlete N Abenao Devi

Imphal, July 18 2024: Assam Rifles sponsored N Abenao Devi, a promising Wushu player, who is a resident of Kha Potshangbam Mayai Leikai, Ningthoukhong village, to participate in the 23rd Junior National Wushu (Boys & Girls) Championship.

The sponsorship covered travel expenses and kit items for the championship, which is scheduled from Jul 26 to 31, 2024 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Informing this in an IGAR (S) press release on Thursday, Assam Rifles expressed hope that the initiative will inspire local youth to work hard and achieve their goals.

The player, her parents, and her coach thanked Assam Rifles for its continuous guidance and support, the release added.
