MNCA Boys' U-14: YESSDAN, RULE, SDO, RCA cruise

Imphal, February 07 2025: YESSDAN, RULE, SDO, and RCA delivered commanding performances in Friday's matches of the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament 2024-25.YESSDAN showcased an all-round performance to register a resounding 225-run victory over RNEF at PTRC Ground.

Batting first, YESSDAN posted a competitive total of 263/2, led by unbeaten knocks from Maisnam Anderson (77*) and Heisnam Bungo (45*), while Manao Salam contributed a crucial 78 .

In response, RNEF was dismissed for just 38 in 22 overs, with Oinam Jeenivash dismantling the opposition with a five-wicket haul, while Thoudam Newton and Laishram Giri claimed three and two wickets, respectively.

RULE thrashed CHAMP by 9 wickets at SEDOC Ground.

Opting to bat first, CHAMP were bowled out for a mere 33 in 13.2 overs, with Ng Nongpoknganba and Ganjit Thangjam taking four wickets each, while Sanathoi Sanjenbam chipped in with one.

RULE then chased down the target in 6.4 overs, losing just one wicket, as Sanathoi Sanjenbam (3*) and Ganjit Thangjam (2') guided their team to victory.

At Lairenjam Public Ground, RCA dominated THAU with a 175-run triumph.

RCA elected to bat and set a formidable total of 244/5, driven by strong performances from Lucky Ahmed (73), Sahed Ahmed (65 retired out), and Albaz Hussain (22).Their bowling unit then bundled out THAU for 69 in 26.1 overs, with Masud Alam leading the attack with three wickets, while Lucky Ahmed and Farhan Ahmed took two each.

Md Irfan, Albas Khan, and Mutahid Akhter contributed with one wicket apiece to seal the comprehensive win.

Elsewhere, SDO claimed an emphatic 8-wicket victory over CYSA.

CYSA were bowled out for 94 in 14.3 overs, with Suhel Ahamed spearheading the bowling effort with five wickets, while Epham Ajmir claimed three.

In response, SDO successfully chased down the target in 17 overs, with key contributions from Sangomsumpham Amzad (29*), Epham Lakibuddin (27), Akbur Ansari (13), and Epham Suhel Ahamed (10*) .
