Imphal, December 24 2024: Manipur emerged team event winners in both the boys and girls competitions in the 27th Sub-Junior National Sepaktakraw Championship being hosted by Kerala at Mini Stadium, Trikarpur, Kasaragod district.

Manipur boys defeated Uttar Pradesh 3-0 in the final today to seal the top honour as girls defeated hosts Kerala 3-0 in the title clash.

Notably, the boys team defeated Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Nagaland in the league round (Group A) before defeating Bihar in the semi-final.

Girls, in the meantime defeated Delhi, Odisha and Assam in the league competition before beating Maharashtra and qualified for the final.
