Imphal, February 12, 2011: Brigadier AK Narula, commander 59 Mountain Brigade today inaugurated a newly constructed playground at Katomei Makeng village in Senapati district.

The playground was constructed with the objective to encourage youth and promote sports in the remote regions, a PIB (DW) statement said.

Speaking on the occasion, P Rouba, village chairman expressed gratitude for the construction of the ground saying that a long cherished of the village youths has been fulfilled.

Presentation of various cultural item marked the occasion.
