Imphal, June 24 2010: 8 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) saved an individual named Mr Panelenmung, age 26 years S/o Mrs Chingnaining resident of village Teisaljang of Chandel district by providing timely and effective medical assistance.

The individual suffering from severe drugs reaction was brought to the Singheu post of 8 Assam Rifles on 22 Jun 10 in a serious condition.

Knowing about the typical condition of the individual, the Medical Attendant present in the COB Singheu administered necessary treatment and saved the life of the victim.
