State education minister, L Jayentakumar today inaugurated the office building of the Rastriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) at Bapupara which was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 35 lakh.
The construction works of the structure was completed within six months.
According to the officials, the construction works was commenced from January 23 of this year and completed on June 20 .
Mention may be made that this RMSA was launched in the country for taking responsibility to develop Secondary-Education Management Information system (SE-MIS).
Apart from state education minister, L Jayentakumar who graced as chief guest, the inaugural function was attended by state chief secretary, DS Poonia, commissioner (education) PK Singh and director of education (s) M Hareshkrishna as president and guests of honur respectively.

Addressing the inaugural function, education minister, L Jayentakumar said like the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Rastriya Madhyamic Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) also aims at to achieve Universal Access and Quality Secondary Education.
The office building was constructed with the objective that the authority of the RMSA could look after the education system in the state while implementing the scheme, he said.
With the advancement of the science and technology, it has been a challenge in drafting education policies and programmes by the authority concerned.
They have to work harder to suit education system with the changing time, he observed.
One of the foremost challenge before the state education department is to impart training to the teachers to make them well adapt with the changing education scenario in the global context.
Teachers also need to work hard with tireless efforts to teach the students with the latest scientific method of teaching.
The Rastriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan can be treated as new generation of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) which is four year old since it was first launched in 2006-07 .
Like the SSA, RMSA is also for the development of education system in the country as well as in the state, the minister went on to observe.
Chief Secretary, DS Poonia who is also the chairman of the RMSA said that teaching with laptop technology of teaching to the students will be introduced at Standard IX band X in the state too.
He also urged the students of the state to study with the intention of competing at the national level.
State education commission, PK Singh said that in the construction of the building office of the RMSA, an estimated cost of Rs 35 lakh had been utilized.
Another amount of Rs 20 lakh also spent in buying and installing furniture and infrastructure.
