Imphal, December 24 2024: Assam Rifles distributed solar street lights at Gelbung village in Chu-rachandpur district, on December 23, as part of its Civic Action Programme.

This initiative highlights Assam Rifles' ongoing commitment to community development, bringing sustainable solutions to remote areas.

The solar street lights, powered by clean and renewable energy, provide much-needed illumination, enhancing safety and security for villagers in areas with limited access to electricity, said a PRO IGAR (S) release.
