Imphal, February 12, 2011: The campaign for ensuing bye-election to Konthoujam Assembly Constituency scheduled to be held on February 14 has ended at 3 pm today.

With the end of the campaign, the CEO reminded the Model Code of Conduct which prohibited political functionaries/party workers of any political party holding procession, campaign, etc.

who have been brought from outside the constituency and who are not voters of the constituency.

Three candidates are in the fray.

They are Dr S Ranjan of congress, K Sarat of Trinamool Congress and independent candidate K Ranjit.
