Khongjom PHC conducts IPPI prog

Imphal, March 06 2024:
Under the supervision of Khongjom Primary Health Centre (PHC) medical officer in-charge Thongam Shamananda Singh, the National Immunisation Polio vaccination Programme concluded on Tuesday.
The programme, which began on March 3, saw inoculation of 2128 children in the age group of 0-5 years at 24 booths set up in different places.
On the first day, 1766 children were vaccinated, while on the second day 241 children were immunised.
On Tuesday, around 121 children were given the polio drops.
The MO in charge commended staff nurses and workers of the PHC for successful conduct of the Polio vaccination Programme.
