INA Museum ticket counter inaugurated

Art and Culture director K Dinamani Singh on Wednesday inaugurated a new ticket counter and washroom blocks of INA Memorial Museum, Moirang in the presence of museum curator Dr L Sadhana Devi and Historical and Heritage Development Association, Moirang secretary K Mohonchandra.
Speaking at the event, K Dinamani expressed that INA Museum is a significant place not only for Manipur but also for the whole country as the Indian National Army of Ne-taji Subash Chandra Bose had hoisted the tricolour for the first time at Moirang after the British colonised India.
He also revealed plans for further development of INA Museum, stating that a project proposal has been sent for upgrading the light and sound equipment of the INA Hall and Kangla Fort Board in tune with time.
Dinamani further disclosed that an engraved granite monument showing the path taken by Netaji Subash from Singapore to Moirang will soon be installed at the INA gate.
