Imphal, May 11 2015 : Indira Gandhi Tribal University, Regional Campus, Manipur held its first cultural festival today at Amity hall, Adimjati complex, Chingmeirong on the theme 'culture in confluence, future in confluence' .

Chief guest of the event State Nodal officer, Directorate of Higher Education and University Th Oliver Monsang highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the State during his speech at the event today.

He also appealed to all the young generations to conserve the State culture and tradition.

IGNTU-RCM Director in-charge and Deputy Registrar SL Varte and MSF/DDO TRI Ramnganing Zimik also attended as functional president and guest of honour respectively.
