DESAM draws Education Minister's attention

Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) Imphal East (I/E) district committee has drawn Education Minister's attention to the unbalanced posting of teachers at schools.
The appeal came as DESAM I/E district committee found various setbacks at Lamlai High School, the school's infrastructure needs immediate attention, lack of logistics, nearly 1,000 students are struggling without adequate teachers, said a press release issued by DESAM I/E district committee Vice President, Ksh Norendro.
Most importantly, three teachers posted at the school were transferred to other schools where there are excessive teachers.
Accordingly, the these new teachers have not even reported to Lamlai High School.
Further, DESAM I/E district committee claims that it will be conducting random survey of all aided schools and private schools of I/E district said a press release issued by DESAM.
