Imphal, March 25 2025: Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla chaired the first meeting of 'Governor-in-Council' today at the conference hall of Raj Bhavan, Imphal.

Chief Secretary, Principal Secretaries, Commissioners and Administrative Secretaries of various departments attended the meeting, said the Raj Bhavan in a statement.

The meeting discussed and approved various agenda and proposals related to development, governance and administration, added the Raj Bhavan.

Meanwhile, Dr Krishnan Kumar, Managing Director of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) along with MS Deval, Executive Director, NHIDCL called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan, Imphal this evening.

During the meeting, the NHIDCL officials provided an update on the progress of various National Highway development projects underway in the State and discussed key challenges facing the NHIDCL .

The Governor directed the officials to implement measures to address the challenges and ensure timely completion of pro-jects, said the Raj Bhavan.
