MYFA holds condolence meeting

Jiribam, April 20 2024:
Manipuri Youths' Front of Assam (MYFA) organised a condolence meeting at Pailapool Study Centre in Cachar district to mourn the untimely passing of theatre activist, historian and writer Yumnam Indrababu on April 11 .
The condolence meeting was graced by Thangjam Brojen, president, MYFA and other MYFA members including Tampakmayum Sirajuddin and Tampakmayum Rehanuddin.
Speaking on the occasion, Seram Herajit, advisor, MYFA, condoled the demise of Yumnam Indrababu, comparing his death to the extinguishing of a bright star in the Manipuri community.
Meanwhile, MYFA VP Tampakmayum Rehanuddin expressed his grief while hailing the late personality who was a person sincerely committed to the welfare of Manipuris and Manipuri Muslims.
Thangjam Brojen stated that the writer's passing will be a great loss to the community and society.
The gathering also observed a one-minute silence to pray for the deceased soul to rest in peace.
The condolence meeting was also attended by Tampakmayum Salamuddin, secretary general, MYFA; Maibam Sabiruddin Khan, joint secretary, MYFA and Maibam Najir Ahamed among others.
