Imphal, March 07 2025: The Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal East has remanded two teachers to judicial custody until March 21 in connection with the leak of Physics question paper during the ongoing Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur examination.

Both teachers of Paradise English School Thoubal, Ningombam Jagdish (33), s/o Bidyashwar of Thoubal Okram and Maibam Sunil (33), s/o Ibomcha of Nepra Company Makha Leikai Thoubal, the teachers were arrested by the Cyber Crime police station on March 4 .

The teachers were produced before the Court on completion of their police custody period along with a prayer to send them to judicial custody.

The Court, after hearing the submission of APP and on perusal of the case record, remanded the duo to judicial custody till March 21.Additionally, three more teachers were arrested on March 5 in connection with the case and they also have been remanded to police custody till March 10 .
