Indian Army extends support to school

Imphal, March 20 2025:
The Indian Army distributed essential items to students of Paramount Standard English School, Leikoiching in Imphal East district.
In a release, PRO Defence informed that the school, established in 1985 by captain Michael Athing Konghay (retired) and his family, has been serving the community for over four decades.
Army distributed over 100 kits that included school bags, notebooks, tiffin boxes, pencils, etc., to the primary students, from financially weaker sections of society.
Over 200 students, teachers and locals attended the programme which included a vibrant cultural performance by the students, followed by the distribution of stationery items, it added.
