Monthly pension disbursed to PwDs

Imphal, March 07 2025: The monthly pension for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) of Singjamei was distributed in a function organised by New Development Organisation, Singjamei (NDOS) at the residence of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee member Oinam Romen at Singjamei Oinam Thingel on Thursday.

In his address, Romen said that if PwDs are provided necessary support, there is nothing that they cannot do or accomplish.

He then stressed the need for introducing some kind of government schemes instead of continuing to depend on the generosity of private individuals.

The programme was also attended by NDOS president Sarungbam Nabakumar, Huidrom Nabakishore and others.
