AR conducts medical camps

Imphal, March 04 2024:
Assam Rifles organised comprehensive mobile medical camp for villagers residing in the far flung border areas of Khonglo, Mathouram, Bundung and Kasong villages under Kasom Khullen sub division, Kamjong district.
Approximately 180 villagers including 77 women and 31 children residing in these border area villages were given essential medication including general health check-up and health improvement tips.
Similarly, a medical and dental camp was conducted in coordination with local medical officers of the Churachandpur district by Assam Rifles to provide medical assistance to local populace of the remote village of Old Gelmol and also to the internally displaced people staying in the village with scarce availability of medical facilities.
Approximately 295 villagers were benefited from the said camp.
Necessary medications for the affected people were distributed and they were briefed about the importance of timely medication to avoid prolonged treatment of diseases, informed a PRO IGAR (S) release.
