JSS, PM Vishwakarma certificates distributed

Thoubal, March 07 2025: A total of 120 beneficiaries of the Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) and PM Vishwakarma schemes, who successfully completed training courses in five trades, were awarded certificates during a ceremony held at the Wangjing Women's and Girls (WWAGS) Hall on Friday.

The certificate distribution function was attended by former minister Dr Moirangthem Nara and JSS, Thoubal chairman Dr Nepram Kunjo as chief guest and president respectively, while WWAGS general secretary Laishram Premananda Singh, NSRICM, Kalyani, West Bengal former director Dr KI Meitei and SBI LDM Uttam Luwang were present as guests of honour.

Speakers at the event stressed the importance of skill development in empowering the youth and building their confidence.

The three month-training course covered Beauty Therapy, IT-ITeS (Assistant Data Entry), Carpet Weaving & Knotting, and Tailoring under the JSS scheme, and on Goldsmith under the PM Vishwakarma scheme.
