Ambulance handed over to Covid volunteers

Kak/Tbl, June 08 2021: Hiyanglam AC MLA, Dr Radheshyam Yumnam handed over two ambulances to the COVID-19 volunteers of the constituency today.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Radheshyam Yumnam stated that mass Covid testing and vaccination programmes have been carried out in the constituency in collaboration with the Health Department and the District Administration.

The MLA mentioned that in view of the increasing number of COVID-19 infection in the constituency, the two ambulances were provided to transport COVID-19 positive patients of the constituency.

The programme was attended by Kakching DC, D Gangmei; CMO Kakching, Thaodem Rajen and SDO Waikhong, Abujam Romen.

Meanwhile, BJP Manipur Pradesh former vice president, Th Jadumani also handed over an ambulance to the volunteers of Lainingthou Club Khangabok to aid the people of Khangabok AC .

Speaking on the occasion, Th Jadumani expressed his appreciation to all the people who provided their assistance in purchasing the ambulance.
