Imphal, August 31 2026: Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh has condemned the killing of three villagers, including two women at Teikhang village in Kangpokpi today.

In a post on Facebook, the CM's office wrote, "Chief Minister Shri Yumnam Khemchand Singh condemned the killing of three villagers, including two women and injuring four others, among them two women at N.Teikhang village in Kangpokpi district today.

He conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families.

He maintained that the government will not tolerate such violence.

The culprits responsible for the killing will be arrested and punished as per the law of the land, he added" .
