Imphal, July 18 2024: College of Food Technology (COFT) of Central Agricultural University (CAU), in collaboration with Department of Horticulture and Soil Conservation will organise a two-day workshop cum exhibition on 'Innovations in Food Processing' on the occasion of National Technology Day 2024 under the theme 'From Schools to Startups: Igniting Young Minds to Innovate' from July 20 at the Pilot Plant of the College in Lamphelpat, DC road.

In a release, COFT (CAU) dean professor Ng Iboyaima Singh said that an exhibition of fresh and processed food is being arranged where the local entrepreneurs, FPOs/FPCs, colleges, universities will showcase their products.

A food mela having more than 35 stalls will be opened to public during these two days for sale and purchase from 2 pm onwards on the said days, it added.
