Concerted efforts stressed to curb drug menace

Kanglei People Against Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (Kanglei Panas) president Elangbam Ibempishak Leima has called for concerted efforts to prevent drug menace and help save the youth of the state.
She made the appeal while addressing the third foundation day celebration of Kanglei Panas held at Manipur Press Club here on Friday.
Ibempishak said that the organisation was established with the goal of saving the youth from the influence of drugs and will continue to do so in the future.
She continued that the organisation will resume its works which have been put on hold in some areas due to the present conflict and urged all to support and extend their cooperation in addressing the drug menace.
The function was also attended by Manipur University assistant professor Dr Naorem Sanatomba Meitei, Khalei Sillup president Soraisam Dilip Meitei, Yulom president Yumlembam Anil Meitei, UMPC vice president Md Isauddin and FESOK president Kangujam Amarjit as presidium members.
