Annual awards distribution of WMGC held

Thoubal, December 02 2023: Waikhom Mani Girls' College (WMGC), Thoubal Okram organised its annual award distribution cum felicitation programme at the conference hall of the college on Saturday with Manipur University registrar professor W Chandbabu Singh as chief guest, college principal H Manoranjan Sharma as president and Directorate of University & Higher Education additional director P Santikumar Singh as guest of honour.

As a part of the programme, MU semester examination position holders and subject toppers of WMGC were awarded gold medals, cash prizes and certificates donated by various individuals, while gifts were presented to best student of the college and to a faculty member who published maximum number of papers in 2023 .

Another faculty member and a student, who are recipients of national awards, were also felicitated while a book comprising various papers published by faculty members of the college on different topics was released on the occasion.
