BVP gifts blankets to patients, home

Imphal, February 07 2025: Bharat Vikas Parishad, Manipur Prant distributed blankets to residents of Glory Children Home, Thamnapokpi in Bishnupur district, and patients undergoing treatment at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal on Thursday and Friday.

The beneficiaries included patients at the RIMS Burns and Plastic Surgery, Oncology and Radiotherapy, and Psychiatry wards.

According to a BVP release, the distribution was led by BVP national secretary (organisation) Suresh Jain, along with RIMS medical superintendent Prof Nepram Sanjib, Plastic Surgery HoD Prof Akoijam Ibohal, Psychiatry HoD Prof Gojendra, members of BVP, nurses, and other RIMS staff.

Over 200 blankets and stationery items were distributed.

Suresh Jain expressed the organisation's commitment to continuing humanitarian services in the state, particularly in crisis-affected areas, and conveyed his willingness to extend further assistance to patients at RIMS .
