Imphal, March 27 2025: Shamurailatpam Shukdev Sharma, who is convenor of the JAC formed in connection with the involuntary disappearance of Luwangthem Mukesh, has warned of launching intense agitation, contending that Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla's response on the issue is not satisfactory.

Speaking to media persons after the JAC members met with the Governor on Thursday, Shukdev contended that the Governor said nothing other than informing that authorities are searching for Mukesh of Keishampat Leimajam Leikai, whose whereabouts remain unknown since March 16 .

Questioning efficiency of the police over failure to trace the car Mukesh was travelling in, Sukhdev desired that the present Governor exhibit the same spirit and valour while he was Kashmir in reuniting Mukesh with his family.

He also informed that a meeting of CSOs on the issue was held and preparations are being made to launch intense agitation within short notice.
