Ayushman Arogya Mandirs inaugurated

Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr Mansukh Mandaviya today inaugurated a number of projects and laid foundation stones for some new projects which would be implemented in the North East.
The projects inaugurated by Dr Mansukh Mandaviya through virtual mode included Ayushman Arogya Mandirs at Langathel, Ningombam in Thoubal district, Khurai Sajor Leikai in Imphal East district, Wangoo Ahallup in Bishnupur district and Nungoo Chairen in Kakching district.
The Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare also laid foundation stones for IPHL (Integrated Public Health Laboratories) Tamenlong district hospital and IPHL Kamjong district hospital.
He also dedicated the Critical Care Block of JNIMS, IPHL of sub-district hospital Pherzawl, IPHL Moreh and IPHL Jiribam district hospital.
The total cost of the 11 projects inaugurated, dedicated and foundation stones were laid today across the North East region is Rs 32.72 crore.
These projects were taken up under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) and Emergency Covid Response Plan (ECRP)-2 .
The virtual function was attended by Health Director Dr Kh Sasheekumar Mangang, JNIMS Director Dr L Deben, NHM State Mission Director Dr N Somorjit, Family Welfare Director L Tomcha Khuman, JNIMS Medical Superintendent Dr Kh Lokeshwar and Health & Family Welfare (Engineering Cell) Chief Engineer T Rabindrakumar at the JNIMS auditorium.
