Many continue to extend humanitarian aid to the displaced people who are staying at various relief camps across the State in a bid to provide some relief and alleviate their problems caused by the prevailing tense situation.
Writers Of Manipur today provided relief materials to the village volunteers staying at Sabungkhok, Sanasabi, Chanung and Nongsum.
Members of Writers of Manipur along with Meira Paibis of Langthabal Mantrikhong Thong Ahanbi visited the areas to meet with the village volunteers who are camping there day & night to defend the area.

According to Writers of Manipur, every household under Singjamei Chongtham Leikai, Chingamakha Khongnang Makhong Maibam Leirak Yaipha Thourang Lup, Chingamakha Ningthoujam Leikai & Meisnam Leikai Meira Paibi, Chingamakha Ibudhou Luwangpokpa Nupi Lup, Khunnai Kanba Nupi Lup Phuramakhong, Irom Leikai Nupi Lup, Oinam Leikai Women Welfare Association, Arapti Awang Leikai Women Welfare Association, Arapti Women Welfare Association, Ketukhong Meira Paibi Arapti Mayai Leikai, Arapti Mayai Leikai Development Association, Arapti Mamang Leikai Youth Club, Arapti Maning Leikai Youth Development Organisation and Arapti Maning Leikai Youth Club contributed 3 "Khuya/ mut" of rice as a token of love for the village volunteers.
Similarly, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur also distributed study materials and sports items to the relief camps opened at Laisoi, Ithing, Sendra, Thangjing Guest House, Moirang College Block A, Moirang College Block B, Sribon Mandop, Muktak High School, Moirang Khunou Mamkha Leikai, Chandpur, Keibul Lamjao, Kumbi High School, Phubala, Ningthoukhong, Sindamsang and Lapupat.
The study materials and sports items were distributed under the activity Student for Seva (SFS) Jeevanam (Give to Life); Disaster relief (Saving Lives) and Samvedan (Shiksharth Vidyarthi, Sevarth Vidyarthi), said a press release issued by ABVP Manipur.
ABVP Manipur State vice president Dr Aheibam Dinamani Singh, Imphal Vibhag organisation secretary Akshay Puspa Rajukar, State secretary Rk Rabichandra Singh, State joint secretary RK Yaikhomba Singh, State joint secretary Gautam Philem and karyakartas of Moirang Unit took part in the event.
Notably, ABVP Manipur has so far provided study materials, game & sports items, sanitary pads, etc to more than 3113 students taking shelter at various relief camps.
Moreover, Konjeng Langpoklakpam Leikai Apunba Meira Paibi and Apunba Naharolhi Sakti Konjeng Leikai also provided relief materials to the village volunteers staying at Yairipok Charangpat, Wangoo, Tronglaobi and Khoijumantabi.
