Students lock Nambol L Sanoi College

Bishnupur, March 20 2025: Students' union and students of Nambol L Sanoi College locked the office and gate of the college on Wednesday opposing transfer of incumbent principal professor W Jyotirmoy.

Speaking to media person, the students claimed that replacing of professor Jyotirmoy with a teacher who is about to retire tantamount to undermining progress of the college as the incumbent principal has played a big role in development of the college.

As the government has overlooked the disturbance caused to the academic career of the students due to the transfer of professor Jyotirmoy, they have decided to lock the college gate and office, the students reasoned, while warning that if the transfer order is not revoked they will launch more intense agitation in the coming days.
