Apunba Manipur Ima breaks away from Imagi Meira

Imphal, March 07 2025: Apunba Manipur Ima has announced its departure from Imagi Meira, stating that it will no longer be working alongside the latter in future.

In a press meet held at Manipur Press Club here Friday, Apunba Manipur Ima member Palungbam Ronibala said that although they will not work alongside Imagi Meira in the future, they would continue to participate in all activities related to the state.

She also extended full support to the public march to be taken out along NH-2 on Saturday, as announced by FOCS.

Informing that the executive members of the body would soon be announced, Ronibala said that everyone had put in their blood, sweat and tears in establishing Imagi Meira, and had been working alongside the co-convenors.

As of now, 20 members have left Imagi Meira, she conveyed.
