Thoubal, February 07 2025: A three-day "Leadership Development Programme for Chairpersons/Directors of Handloom/Handicraft Cooperative Society" organised by NCUI-Cooperative Education Field Project at its Thoubal branch office concluded on Friday.

The valedictory function-organised in conjunction with the felicitation ceremony for the board of directors of the Manipur Apex Handloom & Handicraft Artisans Cooperative Society - was attended by NCUI, New Delhi Governing Council member and NCUI-Project Coordination Committee, Manipur chairperson Jeena Potsangbam, MSCU board of director Th Santosh, Manipur Apex Handloom & Handicraft Artisans' Cooperative Society Ltd president Ronika Angom, vice president Sh Bhubon Singh and Sintha Handloom & Handicraft Cooperative Society Ltd president Lairenlakpam Tombi Devi as presidium members.

Three-day leadership training concludes

Speaking on the occasion, Jeena informed that in a cooperative movement, members concerned must share opinions and work collaboratively.

She highlighted the importance of strong leadership, as understanding and nurturing leadership qualities within each individual is essential.

"To cultivate leadership qualities, one needs to participate in various training sessions and enhance knowledge," she exhorted.
