Kakching, February 07 2025: South East Manipur College (SEMCO), Komlathabi's Department of Computer Science, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Imphal jointly organised one day workshop on 'Artificial Intelligence (AI) and drone flying techniques' at the seminar hall of the College on Friday.

The workshop was attended by SEMCO principal Dr L Khiloni, IQAC coordinator Dr Miranda Bembem Mutuwa, teaching, non-teaching staff and students of the college.

In the first session, SEMCO Department of Computer Science head Dr Chongtham Rajen spoke on the topic 'AI in Higher Education' and assistant professor Dr Nongmaithem Ajith on 'Drones and their applications in modern society as resource person.

NIELIT, Imphal project associate Salam Surjit conducted hands-on-training on drone flying techniques.
