KUM celebrates 7th foundation Day

Imphal, March 25 2025: Kabui Union Manipur (KUM) celebrated its seventh foundation day at Majorkhul community hall, here, on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, president Dr K Heera Kabui reaffirmed KUM's commitment to supporting the indigenous communities and urged all communities in the state to live in harmony.

The celebration was also attended by former MoS Prof Meijinlung Kamson, Sawombung Kabui Khul 'Namdai Taku Longmei' Kadongpu Kabui, Kabui Customary Council, Manipur president Kamson Gangumei Kabui, Duigaipanjang Kabui 'Kailong Longmei' Miten Kabui, Sairem Kabui 'Kailong Khangbonpi' Palmei Amuthoi Kabui, Kabui Women's Organisation, Manipur president Phaomei Puiruna Kabui.

Federation of Haomee president Sapamcha Jadumani, Indigenous Mother Association Haomee president Dr Sanatampha Rajkumari, Kabui Union Bishnupur District chairman G Jiten Kabui, and Kabui Students' Organisation, Manipur president Kamei Solomon Kabui.

Later, students who excelled in the recent Class X and XII examinations were presented with simple gifts as encouragement.
