Essay competition rescheduled to July 30

Imphal, July 18 2024: The essay writing competition for class VI to XII students, earlier scheduled for conduct by Department of Science and Technology in connection with the World Environment Day on July 5, will now be held on July 30 .

According to a notification issued by the Directorate of Science & Technology, Imphal, applications made be submitted in prescribed format by head masters/principals of government recognised schools for nomination of the students for the competition themed "Land Restoration, Desertification & Drought Resilience.

The competition will be conducted at the auditorium of Manipur Science Centre, Takyelpat, Imphal at 10 am .

The last date for submission of application forms shall be July 29 at the Department of Science & Technology, Old Lambulane, Imphal.

The prescribed application format may also be obtained from the DST office or downloaded from www.dst.mn.gov.in.
