Committee formed for Gaidinliu tribute event

Imphal, February 07 2025: With an objective to organise 32nd death anniversary of legendary freedom fight -er of India Rani Gaidinliu at the state level, a committee christened Haipei Rani Gaidinliu's Death Anniversary Committee (HRGDAC) was constituted on Thursday.

In a release, HRGDAC informed that Kadi-chun Kamei, Rubi Kamson and Lankhonlung Gangmei would be its chairman, secretary and secretary finance/treasurer respectively.

All the Zeliangrongpui civil society organisations including, ZU, ZB, ZSUM, KAMA.

Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei and Inpui councils have been advised to nominate their representatives at the earliest for induction as co-opted members of the HRGDAC.

The committee also urged MP, MLAs, ADC members, municipal councillors to be patron its members and further appealed all concerned and public to cooperate in observing the 32nd death anniversary of Haipei Rani Gaidinliu in a befitting manner.
