Activist from MP donates blood for HHP initiative

Imphal, March 20 2025:
Humanitarian activist Awadesh Kumar Shukla from Madhya Pradesh contributed to the Free Blood for Children initiative of Helping Hands for People (HHP), Manipur by donating blood on Wednesday.
A statement issued by HHP Manipur informed that the activist from Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa district has been working towards helping differently abled children and donating blood in support of humanitarian causes.
Shukla, who is currently posted at the BRO HQ 512 S&TC in the state for a term of three years, has donated blood for the 107th time.

Urging for blood donation by at least one person per household and help save lives, he said that donating blood can reduce the risk of hypertension, diabetes, heart diseases and as well as stress.
Shukla further said that he will donate blood to the Free Blood for Children initiative every three months during his posting in the state, the statement added.
