Public rally marks 10 yrs of BBBP in CCpur

CCpur, February 07 2025: Commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme, a public rally was held on Friday from Lamka public ground, Hiangtam Lamka (Churachandpur Sub-Division) to Peace Ground, (Tuibong Sub-Division) .

The rally jointly organised by Churachandpur SDO and Tuibong SDO to help raise public awareness on issues confronting the girl child was flagged off by DC Dharun Kumar from Lamka public ground at 7 am.

District level officers, departmental representatives, police, and members of youth clubs took part in the rally, which culminated at Peace ground, Tuibong.

Participants marched with placards displaying messages in both English and local dialects, advocating for the rights and education of girls while chanting slogans in support of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao mission.
