Imphal deleted from NEET-PGG Centre list

Imphal, July 18 2024: As the National Board of Examination in Medical Entrance Examination (NBEMS) announced re-examination of NEET-PG on August 11, Imphal Centre has been removed from the list of centres where the re-examination would be held.

As per NBEMS report, addition of new centres and removal of existing ones will be decided on security and logistic reasons.

Amid this report, it is speculated that Imphal Centre might have been scrapped due to the crisis in the state lingering for over 14 months.

Centres in northeast states include Guwahati, Silchar & Dibrugarh in Assam, Aizawl in Mizoram, Agartala in Tripura and Shillong in Meghalaya among others.
