DMU syndicate approves recruitment result declaration

Imphal, July 18 2024: A syndicate meeting of Dhanamanjuri University (DMU) held Thursday resolved to declare the recruitment results for vacant teaching and non-teaching staff positions of the varsity.

After conduct of syndicate meeting, DMU vice chancellor (In-charge) Gyan Prakash recalled that the government approved conduct of recruitment for vacant teaching and non-teaching posts.

However, declaration of the recruitment result had to be delayed pending confirmation by syndicate.

After re-checking the notification, advertisement for recruitment of the various posts, the syndicate meeting then approved declaration of the recruitment results, he informed, while adding that the vacant posts including registrar and controller of examinations will be filled up.

Moreover, advertisement was already issued for submission of forms by qualified candidates for regular vice chancellor of the varsity within August 9.Assuring that the inconveniences faced by the students will be resolved, Gyan Prakash urged the students to withdraw the on-going protest.

Later, in the evening the result for the recruitment of registrar, deputy registrar, controller of examinations, deputy controller of examinations and deputy finance officer were declared.
