Kakching, July 09 2023:
Refuting the allegations levelled by Manpur Patriotic Party (MPP) that Anal villagers living alongside Kuki/Zo areas assisted Kuki-Zo volunteers in the ongoing violence, the Anal Naga Tangpi (ANTA) clarified that there had been no incident of Anal villagers taking the side of Kuki-Zo volunteers and proper investigation in this regard has been made by the organisation.
The ANTA also said that Anal tribe is a peace loving community and had been maintaining neutrality throughout the trobled times under the banner of United Naga Council and hoping for peace to return at the earliest.
While sharing pain and sorrow of every individual affected by the ongoing conflict, ANTA also appealed to all the sections of the society to work for return of peace in the state and to both the central and state governments as well as the law enforce-ment agencies and machineries to sincerely address the situation to restore peace and normalcy at the earliest.
