AMMGSU takes stock of situation at Lilong Haoreibi College

A team led by the president of All Manipur Muslim Girl Students Union (AMMGSU) today visited Lilong Haoreibi College to take stock of the situation in the aftermath of the unfortunate attack on the Principal and faculties of the College.
In a release, AMMGSU informed that the Principal and History faculty of the College were attacked on July 6 last following the arrest of Md Rohit Hussan by police for impersonating her brother in the geography practical examination.
The student body claimed that the unfortunate attack on the faculty members and vandalisation of property worth lakhs in the Principal Office were carried out by a group of students led by Social Culture Secretary, Finance Secretary, Magazine Secretary, and Debate & Extn Secretary.
Strongly denouncing the unfortunate incident, AMMGSU conveyed that such incidents have caused much pain and should not be repeated at all.
"The incumbent Principal is well qualified and possesses a wide range of knowledge, experiences and is distinguished among all Principals of Manipur.
His unique personality must be utilised properly for the College which will be benefited for all especially by the people of Lilong", it concluded.
