HAC chairman announces Noney ring road project

Noney, November 07 2023:
A ring road connecting NH 37 will be developed shortly at Longmai Village, Noney at a cost of Rs 18.5 crore under NE-SIDS, announced Dinganlung Gangmei, chairman HAC Manipur, on Tuesday.
The chairman made the announcement during the 54th Foundation Day of Longmai Bazar Board held at Noney town.
Prior to the foundation day event, Nungba MLA Dinganlung inaugurated a new meat market shed at Longmai Bazar Dinganlung attended the Longmai Bazar Board's 54th Foundation Day as chief guest, while Dinringam Kamei, AC to DC, SDO/BDO Haochong and Board chairman Gailung Gangmei were present as guest of honour and functional president, respectively.
During his speech, Dinganlung said, "We must honour our forefathers by following in their footsteps and completing their unfinished tasks.
Because we are mortal, we must do good while we are alive.
God has given us a good opportunity to serve the people with our good acts and zeal to serve the people with love, care, and a sacrificial spirit" .
"Leaders are chosen to serve the people faithfully and to be served by the people.
We must be realistic and dedicated in our service to bring about change in our society," he added.
The HAC chairman also announced that a village ring road connecting NH-37 will come up soon in Longmai village under the North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NE-SIDS), besides a memorial park honouring freedom fighter Haipou Jadonang at Noney town.
The event was moderated by Agui Kamei, secretary information & publicity, Longmai Bazar Board, and was attended by board members, former leaders, church leaders, village authority leaders, district level officers, and other CSO leaders.
