Imphal, March 24 2025: Tribal Students' Union (TSU), DM College of Arts, DM University celebrated its Fresher's cum Cultural Meet 2025 at the auditorium of JN Dance Academy on Saturday during which the Miss & Mister Fresher 2025 contest was held along with various other events.

Camitha Sumpi Anal, a BA second semester student in Economics, was crowned the Miss Fresher while Hmangrengthang Karong Kom, a BA second semester student in Education, was declared winner of the Mister Fresher title.

According to a press release issued by DMU TSU president Pouchundai Phaomei Rongmei and general secretary Olinda Tesong Monsang, the celebration was attended by Thongju MLA Thongam Biswajit Singh as chief guest, DM College of Arts principal Prof S Lanchenba Meetei as president, while Chingai MLA Khashim Vashum and HAC chairman Dinganglung Gangmei were the guests of honour.
