'Health for Her 10K Run' held

Imphal, March 23 2025: The "Health for Her 10k Run" marathon was successfully held on Sunday in Imphal, jointly organised by District Chairperson (Youth Development & Exchange), District Chairperson (Health For Her), Lion International District-3 22D and Team 195 BPM.

The marathon was conducted under the global theme "Health for Her, Run with Joy" to create awareness among the public, especially women on how to keep themselves well & healthy.

The 10 km marathon was flagged off from Kangla Western Gate by Mayanglambam Rajkumar, Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West.

Around 100 young runners (both boys & girls) participated in the marathon to spread the message of peaceful and healthy society.

The marathon culminated at Poloi Football Turf in Kangla Sagomshang, Imphal East district, where a simple function was held to honor the runners.

The function was graced by dignitaries, including Mayanglambam Rajkumar; Rakesh Balwal, Superintendent of Police.

Imphal East; District 322D's past district governors Th Kesho Singh, Prof W Gopimohan Singh and H Manikumar Singh.
