SFs conduct flag march, area domination

Bishnupur, March 07 2025: A joint flag march and area domination was con ducted by personnel of 8 Bn CRPF, 5 Sikh Regiment, RAF Chothe, Bishnupur district police and CDO under the supervision of Bishnupur SP on Friday from around 4:30 pm.

The security measures involving 380 personnel commenced from DSA ground in Bishnupur, and covered various location including Bishnu Temple, Ngaikhong Khullen inter village road, Bishnupur ward no 9 and surrounding areas of Bishnupur Bazar and Bishnupur ward no 7.Cordon and search operation (CASO) were also carried out at suspected houses.

The exercise concluded around 6:30 pm.

No arrests or- seizures were reported during the operation.

On the other hand, Bishnupur district police, Assam Rifles, CRPF, BSF.IRB, Army, and Manipur police commandos conducted a flag march and area domination exercise from Nambol Bazar to Nambol Sabal Leikai, under the jurisdiction of Nambol Police Station, as well as in various other areas under the police station, on Friday.

The march, carried out under the directive of the DGP, was led by Bishnupur SP and accompanied by senior officers of the CRPF and IRB .
