Power outages reported across state

As the state grapples with the aftermath of extreme weather conditions, several key power substations across the state experienced outages due to uprooted electric poles, snapped lines, and fallen trees, disrupting electricity supply to numerous areas.
The affected substations include both 132 kV and 33 kV facilities, exacerbating challenges faced by residents amidst the inclement weather.
As per report received by The People's Chronicle, the substations experiencing power outages include 132KV Moreh, 132 kV Thanlon, 33 kV Utlou, 33 kV Sangai- porouj 33 kV Airpiort,' 33 kV' Hiyangthang, 33 kV Noney, 33 kV Phungyar, 33 kV Na-meri, 33 kV Jesami, 33 kV Tengoupal, 33 kV Mahadeva, 33 kV Machi, 33 kV Khong-jom, 33 kV Wangjing, 33 kV Sekmaijin, 33 kV Mayang Imphal, 33 kV New Chayang, 33 kV Chakpikarong, 33 kV Sugnu, 33 kV Joupi, 33 kV Kasom Khullen, 33 kV Moirang, 33 kV Khwairakpam, 33 kV Moirang Khunou, 33 kV Thoubal Leisangthem, 33 kV Kwakta, 33 kV Wangoo, 33 kV New Lamka, 33 kV Sangaikot, and 33 kV Thinkew These outages have plunged several areas into darkness, compounding the challenges faced by residents amidst the extreme weather conditions.
The power outages come at a critical time when residents are already in the grip of heavy rainfall and hailstorms, which have caused widespread damage and disruption across the state.
